Arriving by plane
If you have hired a car, turn right into Alistair Miller Drive after leaving the airport. Follow the road towards the beachfront. This road merges into La Roche Drive. Turn right at MacDonalds which will be on your immediate right. Pass the Boardwalk Casino complex and proceed until you get to the Marine Hotel between 5 -6 Avenue Turn right into 6th Avenue. We are at
number 3.
Arriving by car
From Cape Town:
Take the Cape Road turnoff and proceed right to the end (Cape Road joins into Russell Road). Continue down Russell Road until you see the Summerstrand turnoff for the freeway. Follow this road. The sea will be on your left side all the way.
When you come off the M4 stay left, following the sea to HUMEWOOD, along Beach Road. Carry along Beach Road with the sea to your left, until you see the Marine Protea Hotel (5th Avenue) turn up 6th Avenue. We are at number 3.
From Durban, Johannesburg, East London and Grahamstown:
Travel along the N2 - alongside the sea. Follow the sign that says SETTLERS WAY, P.E AIRPORT M4 - the lefthand branch.
Travel along the M4 - follow the Settlers Way, PE Airport, University Sign. You will then see a sign M4, City, Summerstrand. The sea will be on you left side all the way. DO NOT take any off ramps.
When you come off the M4 stay left, following the sea, to Humewood, along Beach Road. Carry along Beach Road until you see the Marine Hotel between 5 -6 Avenue Turn right into 6th Avenue. We are at number 3. |
